Johane J. Clermont works as a Project Manager at Douglaston Development on the Rialto West and Kingsboro Psychiatric Center projects. Ms. Clermont is responsible for all aspects of project development including ongoing financial analysis, management of project tasks, due diligence, and architectural development.

Ms. Clermont joined the company in 2023. Prior to her current role, she spent three years at the Department of City Planning’s Zoning Division, where she created new models of mixed-use buildings and special districts to respond to market trends and facilitate diverse economic growth in underutilized New York City neighborhoods. She has also worked as an urban designer developing master plans and reimagining parks, plazas, and greenways in Brooklyn. Through these experiences, Ms. Clermont has developed a keen understanding of context, programming and mixed-use building typologies and dimensions. She is an Urban Design Forum Fellow, serves on the Public-Private Real Estate Professionals (P/PREP) Board of Directors, and is an AIANY Associate New Graduate Member.

Ms. Clermont holds a BFA from The College of New Jersey, a Master of Science in City and Regional Planning from Pratt Institute, and dual Master of Science degrees in Architecture and Real Estate Development from Columbia University.
