Jeffrey E. Levine, Chairman
Jeffrey E. Levine is a respected and accomplished individual with an impressive list of credits to his name. Since 1979, he has been developing and building properties throughout the tri-state area. Mr. Levine has been responsible for development projects ranging from luxury residential buildings, affordable housing units, healthcare and assisted living complexes, and commercial properties, to a large-scale waterfront redevelopment project.

Mr. Levine's projects benefit from his significant track record as well as his expertise in all areas from acquisition to financing, construction, marketing and management.

Mr. Levine's endeavors have resulted in frequent recognitions from the real estate community including Phipps Houses Community Builder Award in 2003, The New York Housing Conference Developer of the Year Award in 2000, Ernst & Young 1997 Entrepreneur of the Year, the National Association of Home Builders Pillars of the Industry 1997 Builder of the Year and the Associated Builders and Owners of Greater New York Developer of the Year in 1997.

Michael Kaye, Chief Executive Officer
Currently chief executive officer of Douglaston Development, Michael Kaye has been with the Levine organization since 1997 as director of development and general counsel and most recently president of Douglaston Development. Prior to joining the company, he was engaged in the private practice of law. Mr. Kaye received his law degree from SUNY Buffalo and his B.A. from the University of Rochester. Mr. Kaye oversees the operations of the company's projects.

Steven Charno, President
Prior to joining Douglaston Development, Steven Charno served as in-house counsel for The Related Companies on the Time Warner Center project at Columbus Circle. Prior to that, Mr. Charno was a partner of the San Francisco law firm Landels, Ripley & Diamond LLP, working in the transactional real estate group. Mr. Charno received his law degree from Brooklyn Law School and B.A. from Brandeis University.

Jonathan Fair, Senior Vice President
Jonathan Fair joined Douglaston Development in 2005. Prior to Douglaston Development, Mr. Fair served as Senior Vice President of Commercial and Residential Development for Forest City Ratner Companies and Executive Vice President of Real Estate for the New York City Economic Development Corporation. Mr. Fair received his MBA from Baruch College and B.A. from Syracuse University.

Michael Kessler, Senior Vice President, Finance
Mr. Kessler has worked within the Levine organization for over 17 years and has been involved in all facets of construction and development financing. Michael has working relations with various tax consultants, CPAs, insurance consultants and lenders. He is a CPA, a member of the NYS Society of Certified Public Accountants and an officer of the Queens and Bronx Building Association. In addition, Mr. Kessler is Vice Chairman of Parker Jewish Geriatric and very involved in many charitable causes in his community.

Matthew Feldman, Vice President
Matthew Feldman has been managing projects for Douglaston Development since 1999. Prior to that, he developed affordable housing for one of New York City's preeminent not-for-profit housing agencies. Mr. Feldman received his law degree from Brooklyn Law School and his B.A. from SUNY Albany.

Adam Mann, Associate Vice President
Adam Mann has been with Douglaston Development since 2003. Mr. Mann received his B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Michael Braunstein, Senior Project Manager
Michael Braunstein joined Douglaston Development in July 2004 as Assistant Project Manager after graduating from New York University. Mr. Braunstein is currently attending Brooklyn Law School part-time.

Leah Hirsch, Project Manager
Leah Hirsch began working at Douglaston Development in February 2006. Prior to joining Douglaston Development, Ms. Hirsch worked as an Assistant Account Executive at Rubenstein Associates Public Relations. Ms. Hirsch graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Urban Studies in 2004.

Benjamin Levine, Project Manager
Benjamin Levine joined Douglaston Development in June 2008. Prior to this, Mr. Levine worked as an Analyst in the Real Estate Finance Group at Credit Suisse. Mr. Levine graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2007 with a B.A. in Urban Studies and a minor in Urban Real Estate and Development.
